This is my Auntie Gladys (or Glad for short)
She is my favourite person. Not only does she volunteer at the foodbank, but she is the sweetest lady. She has won Markham volunteer of the year before. Also, she helps out teenagers in trouble with the law by giving them a place to do community hours. Not many places open their doors, but she swings them wide open, even if they are over staffed.
Tonight we took her out for dinner, not only did it make her happy, but I honestly had the time of my life. She gets lonely in her apartment on Sundays. I would spend ever Sunday with her if I could. We spent almost 3 hours at the restaurant.
She realized I was taking this photo and refused to smile. This is just like her.
