Reasons I love working in coffee shops?

Random people always strike up conversations with me:

A lovely little old lady just came over to talk to me about my Macbook. She got one in the fall and we talked about it. Mine is 4 years old, so it’s going down hill. She was so adorable because she has no idea how to work itunes or the dock. Let’s be real, I didn’t either.
I kept dropping things on the floor, so the man beside me asked if I was okay. I just laughed and said I was clumsy. We started talking.
Somehow, I make friends with the baristas. The one on main street Markham used to know my order by heart, even after I was gone for 3 months!

I also get distracted easily, so that helps.
