I love Joel Plaskett. For serious. This new project of his too is pure awesome so far. The band is recording a new song each week and then releasing them each Tuesday
for… six weeks I think (?)from Jan 10-March 13. This is the first tune from the studios.
This is amazing. Seriously.
The fact that he is producing and releasing the song, week by week is wonderful. They were talking about it on CBC Radio 2 and how this is how it used to be.
I’m so excited. He’s a brilliant man.

Cults - Go Outside.
H. and I saw Cults play live during the summer of 2010. We had started a tradition of doing a road trip to Toronto (from the Adventure Centre or Orillia). We had lunch with his mom, then came down to the city. A friend of mine picked up tickets for us to see Maps & Atlases but unfortunately she was out of town that weekend so we picked them up at her bike shop and spent some time in Kensington and Chinatown. It was time for Fresh (a vegetarian restaurant) and then the show.
Turns out these guys where playing and neither of us knew. We were both so ecstatic!
Anyways, here’s a great song for Monday.
