A young man is stopped by a police officer who attempts to search the SUV. The man refuses to allow the search and the officer has an outrageous reaction to this.
The amazing part of this video is how the man completely understands his rights and stands up for them. The eruption of the office when his power is limited is embarrassing and ridiculous.
tl;dr: Man refuses to allow the police to search his car without a warrant and the office explodes.

Drunk Toronto couple arrested for having sex on subway platform at 2:30 in the afternoon
An extremely intoxicated couple were arrested Sunday afternoon after having sex on a southbound subway train.
“At about 2:30 p.m., a couple was seen by other passengers engaged in intercourse on the train,” said TTC spokesman Brad Ross.
Making no attempts to be discreet, the amorous couple soon prompted a fellow passenger to press the subway’s yellow emergency strip, which brought the train to a stop at Spadina Station. It took 14 minutes for police to arrive.
In the meantime, as trains all along the north end of the University line snarled to halt, the couple staggered onto the platform to continue. The final seconds of their romantic entanglement were captured in a cellphone video now posted online. The face of the woman is not shown, although the man, whose pants are around his ankles, appears to be in his 20s.
After arresting the couple and charging them with engaging in a lewd act, police brought them to a hospital because “they both appeared to be quite intoxicated,” said Mr. Ross.
Subway sex has likely happened before, said Mr. Ross, but never on his watch. “I’ve never seen a report like this before, but that just means that nobody’s been caught,” he said.
In a series of public posts to the BlogTO website on Monday, other riders claimed to have witnessed oral sex on the TTC. On the GO Train, there are rumours of a “Corridor Club” where commuters have sex in train bathrooms.

Page with ‘Stop Harper’ sign fired from Senate
A Senate page who was fired Friday for holding a “Stop Harper” sign during the government’s throne speech says she hopes to inspire more cases of “civil disobedience.”
Brigette Marcelle, a 21-year-old graduate from the University of Ottawa, said that she only recently decided to put her job on the line and stage the silent protest.
Though she was immediately fired from the sought-after position, Marcelle said she doesn’t regret upstaging the government on its coming out day in Ottawa.
“This is the only way we’re going to see real change,” Marcelle told CTV News Channel, as she conceded that Harper’s majority government will hold parliamentary sway for the next four years.
Marcelle managed to hold her sign up for about 20 seconds, and stood steps from Prime Minister Stephen Harper. She was quickly escorted out of the chamber and immediately fired.
Marcelle had served in the Senate as a page for nearly a year, but she decided to take action a few days ago because she said Harper doesn’t reflect the majority of Canadians.
“Harper’s agenda is disastrous for this country and for my generation,” Marcelle said.
She added that the government is “blowing billions of dollars” on fighter jets and corporate tax cuts, but ignoring important environmental issues like climate change.
But since Harper recently won a majority, Marcelle said that staging “creative” protests is the only way to fight back.
“I think that Harper’s agenda is so damaging that it called for something that is different,” she said. “I think we really need to take action.”
This is how it’s done in Canada, bitches. Peaceful protest of the powers that be. This was a bold move, and even if you don’t agree with what she did, at least she DID something. Canadians are not passive. They don’t complain without taking action to make changes. They respond, mobilize, make their voices heard.

Rob Ford Quotes #1
Who are these “people”? Sure, some people do want roads fixed and more police, but that isn’t everyone. There are over seventy thousand* people on the waiting list for government housing. What about the opinions of these people? Are they less valuable than others due to the fact that they can’t afford “regular” housing. Instead of not creating more government housing, how about create more jobs or raise wages so people can afford to have a life. I would be proud to have government housing in my neighbourhood. I don’t care about the roads or police. Let’s also be real about the negative presence of police within targeted neighbourhoods. More police isn’t always great. Let’s rewind to the G20 and how disturbing it was to see all of the police walking around. On public housing: “People do not want government housing built in the city of Toronto. They want roads fixed, more police presence, but they don’t want more government housing that will depreciate the value of their property.”
*this number doesn’t include large families shoved into one bedroom apartments or people sleeping on the floor and eating next to nothing.
Ford’s idea of forcing homeless into shelters draws skepticism.
This was posted in December 2010.
It’s an article about Ford doing a radio show. During said radio show, he proclaimed that during the winter time, one should force homeless people into shelters when they are “shivering on a grate”.
“We can’t leave people out on the sidewalks freezing to death. I’m sorry. I’m going to tell the social workers, get them off the street, get them into a shelter,” Mr. Ford said.
When the radio host seemed surprised at the suggestion of force, Mr. Ford replied: “What are you going to do?… I’m not going to walk by someone shivering on a grate when it’s -20 out. That’s just inhumane. And if I was like that, I’d want someone to pick me up and say, OK, here’s a warm bed, we’ll take care of you.”
Well, this is so much more possible now that you have cut beds and funding. Not only did we not have enough funding or beds before, (our shelter runs over the limit often), but now it’s even worse. Where would you like everyone to go Ford? How about you open up your large home, eh?
This man is a disgrace to Toronto.
I have never been so frustrated at one single politician.
Activist Communique: People's Delegation crashes Ford's budget meeting
This is from February 10, 2011 and it is disgusting.
I am thoroughly ashamed to call Rob Ford the mayor of Toronto. This man has no place in being the mayor. He is close minded and has no respect for others.
Instead of closing shelters and cutting funds, you should put more funds towards prevention programs. Closing beds will just create more homelessness within the streets.
“With a record 76,549 people on the affordable-housing waiting list in Toronto, Ford intends to slash spending on shelter beds for the homeless. The Budget Committee is looking to CUT 40,000 shelter beds (approximately 100 beds PER night), replacing 6,000 with motel rooms for ‘refugee claimants’ who according the them ‘need less support’. Cutting these beds also means cutting the supports of food and shelter services that people depend upon; 34,000 beds will be completely lost, 6,000 motel spaces will mean total isolation and lack of support. Apparently to Ford, the basics of food and shelter for those on the streets is a part of the infamous ‘gravy train’.”
As if there wasn’t enough funding for social services already.
Thankfully, VAW (Violence Against Women) shelters are primarily funded by the province of Ontario. Some shelters are also privately funded, but still.
I am ashamed to call this man the mayor.
Thanks for taking 20 steps backwards. I used to respect the agencies in Toronto.
Which is a direct reversal of three weeks ago, when Egyptian Muslims formed human shields around Egyptian Christians during church services to ensure there wouldn’t be any terrorist interference in their prayers.
This. This is important.
Absolutely. This is what religion should be.
